Monthly Quilt Contest - July's winner

Our team has monthly challenges and each month has a theme.  For July, the theme was Beach; sun, sand, sea, picnic quilts, beach bags etc.

VOTER'S CHOICE FOR THE UFO COMPETITION

And we have a winner!  There were a lot of votes for different quilts, we have very diverse likes and dislikes it seems, which is why quilting is such fun, so many different styles! But the overall voting went to Astrid from Red Needle Quilts, she has lots of wonderful quilts and her mug rugs are the talk of the team! Astrid lives in paradise in Mauritius and is a Team Leader and a very active member of our community, as well as helping out with this blog, a well deserved and popular win!  A pile of fat quarters will be winging their way to you Astrid..... I hope they don't get lost  on the long journey across the world!
